Real-Time Environmental & AQI Monitoring Network for CPCB Across Lucknow & Varanasi
At high-footfall urban transit hubs and civic centers across Lucknow and Varanasi, Orion LED successfully engineered and deployed a centralized network of high-brightness outdoor LED displays for the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Designed to drive public awareness around air quality and pollution mitigation, the installation features standalone P6.6mm Outdoor LED displays engineered with Orion’s self-developed high-contrast mask technology, heavy-duty 4-layer PCBs, and NovaStar TB40 centralized cloud control. Operating at an actual brightness of 7,500 nits, these IP65-rated displays deliver seamless, real-time AQI readings and scheduled civic awareness content under direct sunlight.

How It Was Overcome: Displays were built with IP65-rated ingress protection (front and rear) to prevent water and dust penetration. Integrated industrial surge arrestors protect internal components against power grid spikes.
